Uk Ling joined M. Ravi Law Firm as Legal Associate in June 2022. His main areas of practice are foreign direct investment, corporate, and commercial matters in Myanmar. Uk Ling counsels investors from China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan to structure their market entry in Myanmar concerning business, real estate, construction, manufacturing, and banking.
Uk Ling regularly speaks to foreign investors on foreign investment and dispute resolution in Myanmar. He also took part in the creation of Myanmar’s international arbitration laws.
Before joining M. Ravi Law in Yangon, he had the experience of having worked for over 8 years at three international law firms. Uk Ling holds a Master of Laws from Yangon University, Juris Master (JM) from Southwest University of Political Science and Law, China, and Bachelor of Laws from Dagon University. Uk Ling also achieved the President Scholarship Award during his university days. He is a Higher Grade Pleader and got his license since 2013.
